MJ's 50th birthday "Gotta Be The Shoes! "

Michael Jordan the greatest player ever play the game of basketball is celebrating his 50^th birthday this February 17. And to honor the man in spectacular way, ESPN along with Sports Center compiled a mini documentary about his magical career and his signature sneakers that continuously inspire future generation of basketball players. This short documentary “Gotta Be The Shoes!” includes context of interviews with the current best players in the league, a talk with Nike's most popular and innovative designer Tinker Hatfield and the evolution of his brand. Absolutely worth the watch!

Quinton Jackson: The “Rampage” UFC Vintage memories

Prior to his last fight on UFC on FOX Johnson VS Dodson, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson said he was leaving UFC.  And so right after getting his third consecutive loss against Glover Teixeira, Jackson officially cuts his relationship as a Zuffa roster and decided to part ways with the company. In a few months Jackson is turning 35, He may not be retired yet and still able to take big fights however the future looks austere for the former light heavyweight champion. 

Pettis answers Aldo's victory over Edgar

After a decision victory over Edgar, It looks like Jose Aldo clearly dominated his entire division leaving no top contender. However just before that thought, Dana White informed members of media that Pettis who just came from impressive victory over Cerrone a week ago is willing to drop down to 145 pounds and get a title shot against featherweight champion Jose Aldo.

UFC 156 Main Cards

UFC 156 has handful of fights lined up for everyone. Four in particular have my attention. In the heavyweight division “The Demolition Man” Alistair Overeem will face “Big Foot” Antonio Silva meeting at 265 pound match. Should Overeem win this fight he will earn a privilege for a title shot against the reigning heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez. In the light heavyweight fight veteran mixed martial artist and jiu-jitsu expert Antonio Nogueira will face Rashad Evans. The fight figures to go the distance as both fighters are gritty, well-rounded and durable.

The inspiration came from the snake’s extraordinary sixth-sense ability to detect body temperature and environmental changes in its prey. 

AIR JORDAN III RETRO "JOKER"

With all the hype neighboring the much expected Nike Air Jordan III Retro 88’s early this February, other versions particularly 3 - Black/Purple/Green already nicknamed after Batman’s adversary “Joker ” will also be hitting  at selected Jordan Accounts middle of February 2013. This will feature a black based style with green accents in the sock liner, lace holes and sleeves area - adding Elephant print to its eye stay. Rumors and Rants about Dwight Howard

Before the season started who would have thought that the L.A Lakers would have 19-25 record halfway through this year’s NBA season. Having added Steve Nash and Dwight Howard in the system to play along with Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Metta World Peace, this is not exactly how things were supposed to be.  Injuries may have a significant impact for the Lakers early this season but in the surface it’s the roster that isn’t playing well together for many reasons.
